Rajesh and Nupur entered the bedroom, and there they saw Aarushi’s dead body on the bed, covered with a flannel blanket. The parents were shocked. Rajesh started screaming while Nupur stood motionless.
By this time, Bharti had opened the outermost entrance with a firmer push and found that the middle door was only latched, not locked. She opened and walked in and saw Rajesh and Nupur crying, and the housemaid was taken aback by the sight of the dead daughter.
Nupur pulled the blanket off Aarushi’s body. Her throat was slit.
