Sean Combs

On Monday, multiple new lawsuits were filed against musician and producer Sean Combs, accusing him of serious offenses, including sexual assault against both men and women, as well as a 16-year-old boy. These lawsuits, filed by anonymous plaintiffs in New York’s Southern District federal court, describe a range of alleged incidents, including rape, drugging, and other forms of assault. The plaintiffs seek compensatory and punitive damages for the alleged incidents, some of which reportedly took place at Combs’ famed White Parties between 1998 and 2006.

These latest suits are part of a larger wave of litigation led by Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee, alongside co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale. They represent over 120 alleged victims of Combs, including minors. Combs’ legal team has firmly denied the accusations, expressing confidence in their defense and faith in the judicial process. They released a statement asserting, “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”

Currently, Combs is in federal custody, facing an indictment on charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. These new suits add to a growing list of legal challenges for Combs, who had already been accused of various forms of misconduct in prior civil lawsuits.

Allegations from the White Parties

In one claim, a John Doe alleges that in 1998, at a White Party in the Hamptons, Combs assaulted him when he was just 16. According to the suit, Combs instructed him to undress as a “rite of passage” necessary to achieve stardom. The plaintiff claims he later realized that Combs had exploited his ambition to gain control over him.

Another John Doe alleges that Combs assaulted him during a 2006 White Party, where he was working security. Doe claims Combs provided him with drugged drinks, which led to an assault in a van. The incident, according to Doe, was reported to his employer soon after.

Sean Combs Additional Assaults

Another lawsuit alleges a disturbing encounter at Macy’s flagship store in New York in 2008, where a John Doe claims he was assaulted by Combs in a stockroom. The suit details that after being forced into a compromising position, Doe reported the incident to Macy’s security. However, he claims Macy’s failed to investigate and eventually fired him due to a multi-million-dollar deal with Combs’ clothing line, Sean John.

In one lawsuit, a college student, referred to as Jane Doe, claims that she and a friend were invited to an “exclusive” after-party in 2004, where Combs allegedly threatened them and forced sexual acts. Another female plaintiff details an assault from 1995, describing how Combs unexpectedly kissed her, then violently assaulted her when she resisted.

One John Doe recounts attending a 2021 party at Combs’ New York residence, where he consumed a drink that rendered him paralyzed and unable to resist. The lawsuit claims that Combs and two other men assaulted him while he remained unable to defend himself.

These cases, with disturbing details spanning over two decades, are now part of a significant legal challenge for Combs, as he faces accusations from individuals recounting years of alleged abuse and misconduct. The legal battles ahead will likely bring further scrutiny and questions about the celebrity’s past and the culture surrounding his fame.
